After first being seen in the Air Jordan Spring 2024 preview, the Air Jordan 2 Retro "Python" is releasing on January 20, 2024.
The 1986 model has been refreshed with a modern design that pays tribute to the Nike Air Python silhouette. The new Jordan 2 comes with a predominantly white upper during this release, featuring black accents around the heel and a "Sail" midsole. The outsole is half grey, half black, and the Nike logo on the heel is embroidered in red. The snakeskin-textured panel on the upper is what makes this pair special, reminding us of the Nike Air Python "Sail" from 2015.
The Air Jordan 2 was conceived as a luxury shoe. The pair was inspired by Michael Jordan’s personal clothing style, which is why it was produced in Italy. The Air Jordan 2 was also the first Air Jordan shoe without a Swoosh applied to the upper.
