adidas Originals and Pharrell Williams are expanding the VIRGINIA line with the VIRGINIA Vario FLAT EARTHER, a low-profile lifestyle silhouette pulled from the adidas archive and reworked around grounded movement and personal expression.
The new model reimagines the adidas Yoga Vario from Fall/Winter 2004, translating a performance-minded yoga concept into Pharrell's current material and shape language. adidas says the shoe arrives in two full-grain leather options, one with green stripes and one with black stripes, each built as a minimalist wrap focused on flexibility, breathability, and day-to-day comfort.
"VIRGINIA is where it began. It started with the Jellyfish, it let you float. Now comes the VIRGINIA Vario FLAT EARTHER, the next chapter of VIRGINIA. Low profile and fitted, it's designed to keep you grounded. Stay close to the earth. Move with intention."
Underfoot, the pair combines an EVA insole with a direct injected outsole, while leather lining and a soft full-grain upper complete the premium build. Positioned as the next VIRGINIA chapter, the release leans into Pharrell's archive-first approach while keeping the finish firmly within contemporary adidas Originals styling.
When is VIRGINIA Vario FLAT EARTHER releasing?
VIRGINIA Vario FLAT EARTHER will release on adidas.com/pharrell, through the CONFIRMED app, and at select retailers. The official release date is April 11th, 2026. That timing places the launch in the Spring 2026 release window for adidas Originals. As a broader seasonal marker, the pair lands in the April to June period before summer product cycles accelerate.
