The Air Jordan 9 basketball shoes were released during the 1993/94 season, with the shoe being created while Michael Jordan had already retired. During that season, Jordan spent his time away from the game playing baseball for the Birmingham Barons Double AA baseball team, with the athlete wearing some of the OG colorways. The first color schemes of a basketball shoe are known as "OG Colorways" (Original Colorways).
For the launch of the ninth model, Nike produced 4 different original color schemes. If you are looking for the Air Jordan 9 in its Retro version, check out the latest releases on Nike SNKRS.
