Zara has announced a two-year creative partnership with John Galliano, marking a long-term project that reworks the brand's archive through seasonal collections beginning in September 2026.
According to the press release issued today, Galliano will work directly with garments from past Zara seasons, deconstructing and reconfiguring them into new expressions. The program is positioned as an ongoing seasonal rollout rather than a one-off capsule release.
"Mr. Galliano will be working directly with garments from Zara’s past seasons, deconstructing and reconfiguring them into new seasonal expressions and creations."
Zara says the work will be guided by a couture process and authorship across the full two-year term. The company has not shared individual collection names or delivery counts yet, and says further details will be announced in due course.
