Nike Basketball and Vanessa Bryant are preparing to launch a new Kobe 5 Protro "Eggplant" during the Spring of 2025.
The new Nike Kobe 5 Protro "Eggplant" pair was revealed by SneakerFiles on X (formerly Twitter), where they posted an image showing a possible color blocking. The product code has not yet been published, but the official color scheme is "Eggplant / Black / Metallic Gold", very similar to the one seen on the "University Red" pair that is releasing during Spring 2025. Several sources have already confirmed the rumor, but no one has been able to confirm a release date. The pair is releasing in a unisex size run from 3.5 US to 18 US, priced at 190 dollars. Nike has not confirmed the release, as they generally refuse to comment on rumors.
