After the original release 10 years ago, Kevin Durantâs famous "Weatherman" color scheme is returning on the Nike KD 4 during the Summer of 2024.
Throughout his career, Kevin Durant has always valued storytelling when launching new products in the Nike KD line. The "Weatherman" color scheme first appeared in 2011, inspired by the athleteâs childhood aspirations. In an old interview with Nice Kicks, he shared that he âalways wanted to be a weathermanâ. At that time, Durant had just won two consecutive scoring titles, with the name tying into the expression âmake it rainâ. The 2024 edition is set to be available in menâs sizes on Nikeâs website as well as at select partner retailers.
When is the Nike KD 4 Weatherman releasing?
Although a release date has not yet been officially announced, we expect the Nike KD 4 "Weatherman" to launch on May 2, 2024. See the official images below as we wait for more release details from the brand or from Nike Basketballâs retail partners.
