Originally released in 2022, Nike ACG Mountain Fly Low Gore-Tex SE "Dark Smoke Grey" returns in Summer 2027 for Nike's seasonal lineup, marking its return 5 years after its original 2022 release.

According to multiple internal documents, Nike is re-releasing the "Dark Smoke Grey" color scheme during Summer 2027. This restock is the second Gore-Tex Mountain Fly colorway scheduled this year, right after “Dark Obisidan” returns.

The pair comes with style code DD2861-002, an official "Dark Smoke Grey / Iron Grey" colorway, a $180 retail price, and is expected to return during Summer 2027. The shoe keeps its low-cut hiking profile almost entirely black, combining textured mesh with synthetic panels marked by a fine diamond grid. A gray Nike Swoosh sits along the lateral side, and the heel adds a diamond Gore-Tex mark with tall pull tabs carrying Nike ACG branding. The reflective treatment becomes the defining visual shift in darker conditions, turning the grid lines, lace edges, side lettering, and Swoosh bright white. Underneath, a black midsole is finished with scattered white speckles, while the outsole frames a vivid neon yellow traction channel with repeated chevron lugs and a black rubber perimeter.
