The collaboration between Nike and Caitlin Clark on a model from the Kobe Protro line does not come as a surprise, considering her favorite basketball shoes are the Nike Kobe 5 and Nike Kobe 6. According to several industry sources, it appears that Nike is preparing a Nike Kobe 6 Protro model for her. The release information was published exclusively on Sneaker Market in collaboration with Brandon1an.
The pair comes with product code IO3672-400 and the "Light Armory Blue / White / Baltic Blue" color scheme. Although the color blocking is not yet known, it is possible that this colorway is a PE (Player Edition – a pair produced only for Nike athletes) worn by Caitlin Clark during August 2024. For now, Nike has not confirmed the release rumors. In general, the brand avoids confirming rumors about limited-edition releases. We expect to learn more details about the release starting during the Winter of 2025.
