Originally released in 2001, Air Jordan 16 Retro "Ginger" returns in Summer 2027 for Nike's seasonal lineup, marking its return 26 years after its original 2001 release.
According to multiple internal documents, Nike is re-releasing the "Ginger" Air Jordan 16 Retro colorway during Summer 2027. The release information was published exclusively on Sneaker Market in collaboration with zSneakerHeadz, Brandon1an, and Sneaker Files.
The pair comes with style code IX7269-700, an official "Lightening / Multi-color" colorway, and a $245 retail price. Bright yellow leather covers the upper, while the black shroud, mesh inner bootie, and Jordan Wings branding on the ankle flaps keep the silhouette feeling armored and unmistakably Jordan. Underfoot, translucent gold Air cushioning, the white midsole, and the black outsole sharpen the contrast, while the removable shroud and black heel support preserve the model’s signature structure.
