
Jordan Brand is preparing to re-release the famous Air Jordan 12 "Melo" on April 5, 2025, originally launched during the Summer of 2004.
UPDATE 02/05/2025: Nike released official images today of the new Air Jordan 12 Retro "Melo". The pair is scheduled to launch during the Summer of 2025, however the brand has not officially announced the exact release date. Check out images of the new model below and consult the list of partner retailers.
UPDATE 01/04/2025: According to several industry sources, although the pair was scheduled to release on April 5, 2025, the launch has been postponed until May 17, 2025.
UPDATE 01/08/2025: After the release information surfaced during the Summer of 2024, JD Sports has published the first images of the new Air Jordan 12 Retro "Melo". The model is launching this year on Nike.com and at Air Jordan partner stores. The pair will be available in a full family size run.
The release information initially surfaced from zSneakerHeadz on X (formerly Twitter), where he shared the product code, color scheme and a possible release date. The Air Jordan 12 “Melo” is a colorway that was originally produced for Carmelo Anthony when he was playing for the Denver Nuggets. The pair comes in a “White / University Blue / Metallic Silver” color scheme. The upper is constructed from white leather, with blue detailing on the heel area and the sole. The last color (silver) is used around the lacing area. Just like the 2004 version, the 2025 edition does not feature “Melo” branding. The price for men’s sizes will be 200 dollars.
When is the Air Jordan 12 Retro “Melo” releasing?
The Air Jordan 12 Retro "Melo" is releasing during Fall 2024 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan Retro partner stores. At the moment, Nike has not yet confirmed an official release date. However, we can expect to see the new pair in stores starting from April 2025. One possible release date is April 5, 2025.
