Jordan Brand is bringing back the iconic Air Jordan 12 Retro "French Blue" during Fall 2024 in a full family size run.
UPDATE 02/08/2025: After a long wait, Nike released official images today of the new Air Jordan 12 Retro "French Blue". For now, Nike has not announced a release date. However, several sources claim the pair is launching on August 16, 2025.

UPDATE 10/10/2024: According to zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, Jordan Brand has decided to release the original “French Blue” version. Although they initially mentioned that the brand would change the "color scheme" and add a touch of red, the brand’s plans have changed in the meantime. We expect the Air Jordan 12 Retro “French Blue” to release during Fall 2025.
UPDATE 31/08/2024: According to zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files, Jordan Brand is set to release a “French Blue 2.0” version during Fall 2025. The model will use red on the lateral side instead of the classic Jumpman text with a grey background. The color will also appear on the Jumpman logo on the tongue. In addition to these changes, the shoe’s lining will be done in blue.
Nike wants to make sure it doesn’t lose momentum – as a result, the high-profile Jordan Retro releases won’t stop during Fall 2025. According to multiple sources, the Air Jordan 12 Retro "French Blue" is set to release during Fall 2025. The information first appeared on X (formerly Twitter) from Elden Monitors, where they mentioned that the pair will release in a full-family size run. Although it is not an OG Colorway, the 2004 color scheme is one of the most popular Air Jordan 12. The pair was last released in 2016. The 2025 version comes in the "White / French Blue / Metallic Silver / Varsity Red" color scheme. For now, Nike has not confirmed the release rumors. In general, the company avoids confirming rumors about limited-edition launches.

The Air Jordan 12 Retro "French Blue" is releasing during Fall 2025 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan Retro partner stores. The brand has not yet announced an official release date.
