Jordan Brand is changing its plans during the Winter of 2025, launching the famous and highly coveted Air Jordan 11 Retro "Gamma" in a full family size run.
UPDATE 05/02/2025: According to zSneakerHeadz (via X, formerly Twitter), the new Air Jordan 11 Retro "Gamma" is releasing on December 13, 2025. The pair will be available in a full family size run – adult, grade school, pre school, toddler, and toddler little flex.
Although in August 2024 we confirmed together with Sneaker Files and zSneakerHeadz that Nike was working on a new Air Jordan 11 based on black, grey and red, it seems they have changed their plan for Winter 2025. According to several industry sources, the previously mentioned pair has been cancelled. Instead, Jordan Brand is releasing the famous "Gamma" colorway. Although most industry sources mentioned that the pair would release under product code CT8012-017, the correct code for this product is CT8012-047. Initially planned as the black, red and grey version, this product code now represents the release of the "Gamma" colorway.
Even though this is not an original colorway, this color scheme is one of the fans’ favorites. It was released only once, in 2013. Over the last 11 years, Jordan fans have continued to hope that Nike would release this colorway again. The 2025 version comes in the "Black / Gamma Blue / Black / Varsity Maize" color scheme. The pair will be available in a full family size run. The release date has not been announced yet. Most likely, the new Air Jordan 11 will release in December 2025.
When is the Air Jordan 11 Gamma releasing?
The Air Jordan 11 Retro "Gamma" is scheduled to release at the end of 2025 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan Retro partner stores. At the moment, Nike has not yet confirmed the rumors and has not announced the release. However, the pair is part of the Holiday 2025 season. As a result, we expect it to release between October and December 2025. In general, Jordan Brand releases an Air Jordan 11 every year in December.
