The famous Air Jordan 10 Retro "Shadow" from 1995 is releasing again in 2025, marking the third retro after the versions from 2008 and 2018.
UPDATE 07/11/2025: The new Air Jordan 10 Retro "Shadow" is releasing on November 19, 2025 on the Nike SNKRS app and at select Air Jordan Retro partner retailers.
UPDATE 02/01/2025: The release of the new Air Jordan 10 Retro "Shadow" has been confirmed. According to Sneaker Files and zSneakerHeadz, the pair is releasing on October 29, 2025. Also, this model does not come with a toe cap – only the "Steel" model will have a toe cap.
The Air Jordan 10 "Shadow" is one of the original color schemes of the AJ10 model. The model was released in 1995, during the season when MJ returned. Although the timing was theoretically perfect, the model was ignored by fans in favor of the Air Jordan 11. The 2008 version was the CDP (Countdown Pack), which was slightly different from the original model. The edition releasing in 2025 will be the fourth edition, including the original version (or the third Retro edition for this colorway).
The color scheme features a leather upper that combines shades of grey, a black sole and black detailing across the shoe, along with the famous red Jumpman logo on the heel. The lining is black and grey, just like the logo on the tongue. The new Air Jordan 10 Retro is releasing during the second half of 2025. It will be available in both men’s sizing and Grade School sizing (for kids). The adult pair comes with product code HJ6779-001. For now Nike has not confirmed the release rumors. In general, the brand avoids confirming rumors about limited-edition drops.
When is the Air Jordan 10 Retro Shadow Returns releasing?
The Air Jordan 10 Retro "Shadow" is scheduled to release during the second half of 2025 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan Retro partner stores. For now these rumors have not been confirmed by Nike, so the release date is not yet known. It is very likely that the pair will be part of the Fall 2025 or Holiday 2025 season. See images below of the OG 1994 edition (via Sothebys) while we wait for more information about the release.
On another note, the Air Jordan 10 Retro "Steel" is releasing again in 2025. The pair will arrive with the same toe cap featured on the 1995 version. Although the shoes originally had a toe cap inspired by the golf shoes worn by Michael Jordan, he did not like it. As a result, the design was modified to have a smooth toebox instead of a leather mudguard.
