Even though almost seven years have passed since the last release of this model, Air Jordan is still not ready to give us a retro version of the famous Air Jordan 1 High OG "Black Toe". Instead, they are offering us something just as good: the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Black Toe".
Rumors about the release of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Black Toe" first surfaced in 2022, and leaked images confirmed them. Now, just a few weeks before the official launch, Nike has released the official photos of this model for a more detailed look at this famous color combination.
Fans of the original model will feel right at home, as the color combination has been very well translated onto the low-top version of the sneakers created by Peter Moore. The full leather upper alternates between black for the Swoosh, toe box, and eyestays; red for most of the heel; and white for the base layer. The red outsole together with the Nike Air branding on the tongue are done in the same style as its predecessor, the high-top model.
When is the Air Jordan 1 Retro Low “Black Toe” releasing?
Check out the official photos of the Air Jordan 1 Low OG "Black Toe" in detail below. The release is scheduled for August 4, 2023 on the Nike SNKRS app and at select Air Jordan retail partners.
On another note, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "UNC Toe" has just released.
