First teased in late September, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG âWhite Cementâ has surfaced via detailed in-hand images ahead of its official drop in February 2023.
Although countless netizens have taken to social media to express their lack of interest in the retro, the pair has still drawn attention for its heritage-driven, experimental look. White and black cover everything from the toe box to the profile Swooshes, leaving the overlays around the forefoot, along the tongue and across the heel to showcase the sneakerâs most defining detail: elephant print. The "White Cement" style first appeared on the Air Jordan 3 in 1988, and its use on sneakers outside of Tinker Hatfieldâs creation has been rare over the last 34 years. The collars, "Wings" logos on the ankle and laces also opt for pitch-dark finishes, while the often-imitated sole units underfoot return to a greyscale arrangement. Together, all these elements create a modern Air Jordan 1 firmly rooted in #23âs sneaker legacy.
When is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG âWhite Cementâ releasing?
Currently, a release date is scheduled for February 25th, 2023 on Nike.com and with select Air Jordan retailers. Check out official images below as we wait for more details about the upcoming release.
In other news, the highly awaited Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG âTrue Blueâ has recently released and is still sitting in stock with multiple retailers.
