The unmistakable Air Jordan color-blocking formula with the “toe” is returning to stores this Summer, bringing with it one of the most recognizable color combinations from the Air Jordan collection, the "University Blue" colorway, under the nickname “UNC Toe”. Although the Air Jordan 1 became less popular during 2023, this pair is definitely one that will sell out at launch – in short, do not sleep on this release!
This version in black, "university blue" and white, known as the "UNC Toe", is made from leather, with a smooth black upper, smooth white midfoot panels and "tumbled leather" in the Tar Heel–inspired blue on the toe, ankle and outsole. The black nylon tongue and white midsole are standard practice for the Air Jordan 1, as is the "university blue" rubber used on the outsole.
When is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "University Blue" releasing?
The release date is scheduled for July 22, 2023, in a full family size run (adult / Grade School / Pre-School / Toddler). The launch will take place on Nike SNKRS and at Air Jordan retailers worldwide. Stay tuned for an updated store list as we get closer to the release.
