The âReimaginedâ collection, which features reinterpreted iconic Air Jordan Retro models, is constantly growing, having debuted last year with the âLost & Foundâ release. After their experiments on the Air Jordan 3 âWhite Cementâ, Jordan Brand is now turning its attention back to the Air Jordan 1, specifically to its original âRoyal Blueâ color scheme.
Unofficial information about this pair surfaced at the end of last year, with rumors that it would be released during the Holiday 2023 season. Until now, the term âReimaginedâ made us think of cracked leather and yellowed soles, but this new model has nothing to do with the versions released so far. Despite all the changes, the âRoyal Reimaginedâ model remains relatively faithful to the color scheme of the original 1985 pair. The colors are used in the same way as on the OG version, combining âRoyal Blueâ with black on the upper. The main difference is in the construction, replacing the leather upper specific to this silhouette with a suede upper.
