The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Royal Reimagined” releases on Nike.com and at select retailers on November 4, 2023.
The “Reimagined” collection, which features reinterpreted iconic Air Jordan Retro models, is constantly growing, having debuted last year with the “Lost & Found” release. After their experiments on the Air Jordan 3 “White Cement”, Jordan Brand is now turning its attention back to the Air Jordan 1, specifically to its original “Royal Blue” color scheme.
Unofficial information about this pair surfaced at the end of last year, with rumors that it would be released during the Holiday 2023 season. Until now, the term “Reimagined” made us think of cracked leather and yellowed soles, but this new model has nothing to do with the versions released so far. Despite all the changes, the “Royal Reimagined” model remains relatively faithful to the color scheme of the original 1985 pair. The colors are used in the same way as on the OG version, combining “Royal Blue” with black on the upper. The main difference is in the construction, replacing the leather upper specific to this silhouette with a suede upper.
