Jordan Brand is working on a new Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG for the Summer of 2025, this time in the "Black / Summit White" color scheme.
UPDATE 11/21/2024: According to zSneakerHeadz (via Instagram), the Air Jordan 1 High “Self Expression” is scheduled to release on August 9, 2025. For now, the brand has not yet confirmed the official release date.
UPDATE 10/23/2024: According to Sole Retriever, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Black / Summit White" features a multi-layered upper. The top layer is black, the middle layer is multi-color and the final paint layer is white. There are no photos of the product yet, but we already have a mock-up showing a possible color placement.
Alongside the Air Jordan 1 High "UNC" release during the Summer of 2025, the brand is also launching an AJ1 based on white and black. The pair comes in a "Black / Black / Summit White" color scheme, but the exact color blocking is not yet known. The sneakers predominantly use the "Black" color, so we can expect a mostly black upper or black panels. The model will release in a full-family size run. Nike has not yet confirmed the rumors about this new release. In general, the brand avoids confirming rumors about limited-edition drops.
When is the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Black / Summit White” releasing?
The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "Black / Summit White" is releasing during the Summer of 2025 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan Retro partner stores. The brand has not yet announced an official release date. However, we already know that the pair is part of the Nike Summer 2025 seasonal catalog, so we expect a release sometime between April and June 2025. Check out a mock-up below showing a possible color blocking while we wait for more release details.
In other news, the famous Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG "UNC" is releasing again in 2025. The color scheme is one of the first colorways from 1985 (also known as "OG Colorways"), inspired by the University of North Carolina colors.
