The kids’ version of the Air Jordan 1 “Bred” is releasing on July 25, 2022 on Nike.com and at select Air Jordan partner stores.
The “Black / University Red / White” color combination was only named “Bred” when Jordan Brand began launching the Air Jordan Retro product line, re-releasing the original models worn by Michael Jordan. As the name of this Air Jordan 1 Mid GS suggests, Nike is re-releasing the “Bred” colorway during this run, adding the text “BLACK” over the black panels and the text “RED” over the red panels of the shoe. The white midsole remains unchanged from the original together with the red outsole, but the text “BLACK + RED = BRED” appears in red on the sole in the heel area, very similar to the “AIR” text on the NIKE x Off-White pairs added by Virgil Abloh.
