Nike’s influence on Japan is very strong – official images have recently surfaced of the Air Jordan 1 Low in a craft-focused style, nicknamed "Sashiko".
The fabric panels on the Air Jordan 1 Low "World Make Japan" feature a traditional white stitching pattern, inspired by Japanese “Sashiko” craftsmanship. The material used on these panels is similar to denim, appearing on the heel, tongue, and toe area. In the past, Nike has released both a Nike SB Dunk Low and an Air Jordan 4 Retro with a similar design, all inspired by Japanese craftsmanship. The branding elements stand out, especially the black Swooshes set against a white background. The sole comes in an off-white shade, matching the shoe’s overall color scheme very well.
When is the Air Jordan 1 Low World Make Japan Sashiko releasing?
