The products that had been prepared for release before Adidas and Kanye West ended their partnership in October 2022 sold extremely quickly through the adidas CONFIRMED app, demonstrating the popularity of the designs even after the scandal involving Kanye West.

Adidas and its partner retailers will continue to release new Yeezy models throughout August, and the Yeezy Boost 350 v2 CMPCT is among them. The Primeknit upper and Boost-equipped sole come together to create one of the most interesting footwear options in the Yeezy lineup. The "Slate Onyx" color scheme is very similar to the one used on other Yeezy Boost 350 v2 models, featuring an almost monochromatic upper.
