Fresh off a collaboration with atmos, Sean Wotherspoon has recently (unofficially) unveiled the latest partner for his next adidas Adventure Superturf: Mattel’s Hot Wheels.
Adidas and Sean Wotherspoon have teamed up to create a line of shoes that are both stylish and comfortable. The Superturf is made with a soft, breathable material that is perfect for everyday wear. The Adidas x Sean Wotherspoon collaboration is a great way to get stylish shoes that are also comfortable.
Much like the Round Two co-founder’s past footwear endeavors, the upcoming sneakers revel in a medley of vibrant colors throughout their upper. A porous mesh base with suede and leather-like overlays in white, aqua, and yellow tones. Trail-inspired components in the mid-foot, tongue, and heel inject Hot Wheels-appropriate flair into the adidas Originals model. Co-branding arrives on the tongue’s zippered cover, but adidas logos are dropped on the heel in favor of a patch donning the scale model car brand’s name. As with Wotherspoon’s preceding three-way collaborations, the pair features an off-road-ready sole unit, though adiPrene+, adiPrene and Traxion tread underfoot opt for an understated off-white and slightly-yellowed color combination.
