Nike Basketball is re-releasing the famous Kobe Bryant x Nike Kobe 3 Protro "Orca" during Fall 2026, originally launched in 2008.

Although it is too early to discuss an exact release date, we have information about a new Nike Basketball release from 2026. According to several industry sources, Nike is launching once again the famous Nike Kobe 3 "Orca", originally released in 2008. The release information was published exclusively by Sneaker Files.
The new Nike Kobe 3 Protro "Orca" comes with product code IQ5340-001 and the "Black/White/Anthracite/Varsity Maize" color scheme. Given the color scheme used, it is clear that we are talking about the famous "Orca" model from 2008. For now, the brand has not yet confirmed the release rumors. In general, Nike avoids confirming rumors about upcoming limited-edition releases in the near future. We will most likely find out more information about this release starting during the Summer of 2026.
When is Nike Kobe 3 Protro “Orca” Fall releasing?
The Nike Kobe 3 Protro "Orca" is releasing during Fall 2026 on Nike.com and at select Nike Basketball partner stores. For now the brand has not yet announced an exact release date. However, we already know that the new model is part of the Nike Fall 2026 seasonal catalog. As a result, we expect the release to take place between July and September.
