Stone Island is collaborating once again with New Balance during Spring 2025, launching together a new New Balance 998 "Raso Gommato".
Stone Island and New Balance present the latest release from their long-standing collaboration. Releasing on March 27, 2025, the Stone Island x New Balance 998 Made in USA is a reimagined take on the model first introduced in 1993 in the New Balance catalog.
The New Balance 998 was the first shoe to use ABZORB technology at the time. It has been used by several brands for collaborations, with two of the most famous being with Concepts and KITH. The Stone Island pair comes in the "Mauve / Deep Plum / Copper Maroon" color scheme. The upper uses suede in brown and purple tones. The midsole is artificially yellowed, while the outsole is black. The inner lining is grey, matching the grey reflective panel on the heel.
