Jordan Brand is re-releasing the famous Air Jordan 4 Retro “Bred” in the winter of 2026, this time using the 1989 shape.
UPDATE 25/02/2026: According to multiple internal documents, the Air Jordan 4 Retro OG “Bred” returns during Black Friday 2026 with Nike Air heel-tabs, white edges piping and the iconic Jordan face box.
Although it is too early to discuss an official release date, we already have information about a new Air Jordan release in 2026. According to several industry sources, it seems that the brand intends to release the famous AJ4 “Bred” again in 2026. The release information was published exclusively by zSneakerHeadz and Sneaker Files.
The model comes with product code IX8180-001 (Men's SKU) and the color scheme “Black/Fire Red/Cement Grey/White” In accordance with the colors used, it is clear that we are talking about the famous “Bred” model, one of the original colorways released in 1989. According to the sources mentioned above, the brand is launching the model using the 1989 shape, being a “true to OG” release, meaning faithful to the original. At the moment Nike has not yet confirmed the rumors about the release. In general, the brand avoids confirming rumors about upcoming limited edition releases in the near future. We expect to find out more details about the release starting in 2026.
When is the Air Jordan 4 Retro OG “Bred” releasing?
The Air Jordan 4 Retro OG “Bred” will be released in the winter of 2026 on Nike.com and at partner Air Jordan Retro stores. At the moment, the brand has not yet communicated an exact release date.
