Nike served up an official collaboration between LeBron James and his favorite cereal with the LeBron 19 Low “Fruity Pebbles” earlier this year, coming full circle with the epic LeBron 4 PE that landed well over a decade ago. Joining that sneaker release is a Dunk Low, revealed here via official images.
The fruit-flavored cereal stands out front and center via patterned shoelaces and an inner insole, with the official logo of the Post brand cereal adorning the tongue. The rest of the Dunk is blocked with signature colors of red, yellow, and blue, while LeBron James’ crown logo appears on the heel-tab. A milky white opaque outsole sits below.
Fruity Pebbles cereal was first introduced in 1971 by Post Cereals. The cereal consists of crispy puffed rice cereal pieces that are coated with fruity flavored sugar. The cereal was originally marketed as a breakfast cereal for kids, but has since become a popular snack food.
Since he was a kid, LeBron James has loved Fruity Pebbles cereal, it being his favourite cereal. When he was a child, his mother would buy him a big box of the cereal and he would eat it every day. Even now, as a grown man, LeBron still enjoys a bowl of Fruity Pebbles from time to time.
In other news, official images of the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Gorge Green” have also surfaced.
