First seen towards the tail end of 2022, the Air Jordan 1 “Lucky Green” is among one of the year’s most exciting releases, only paling in comparison to the likes of the upcoming Air Jordan 3 “White Cement Reimagined”. Following several teasers over the course of the last months, official images of the Celtics-friendly colorway have finally surfaced.
Akin to the “Black Toe” in terms of color blocking, the Air Jordan 1 “Lucky Green” is expected to arrive in April. The titular green sits front and center along the shoe, highlighting not only the laces and branding but also the heel counter, ankle flaps, and outsole. The color palette on this reissue is a nod to the Boston Celtics — one of Jordan and the Bulls’ rivals in the Jordan Brand ’90s. Its titular shade reflects the Eastern Conference squad’s main tone and comes pronounced atop the flaps, laces and lower heel overlays. Elsewhere, the design is done up in a way similar to its aforementioned counterpart, with black painting the Swoosh and overlays and white the base and midsole.
Enjoy an official look at the Air Jordan 1 “Lucky Green” ahead. A release date is currently scheduled for April 15th on Nike.com as well as with select retailers.
